Historical Information
Campbell County was named for William Campbell, one of the heroes of the Battle of Kings Mountain in 1780. The county was formed from Bedford County in 1781.
Scope and Content
Campbell County Deed and Land Grant, 1794 and 1809. The collection contains a land grant to Samuel Day, 1809 Apr. 20; and a deed between Thomas Humphreys and John Forbes, 1794 Apr. 2.
