Middlesex County (Va.) Deed of Gift (agreement), Wormeley to Wormeley, undated. The deed documents an agreement between Ralph Wormeley and Benjamin Dabney pertaining to the impending marriage of Ralph Woremeley's son, Ralph Wormeley Jr., to Dabney's ward, Elizabeth Boswell. The deed binds Ralph Wormeley, in exchange for payment from Dabney of land and slaves valued at one thousand to twelve thousand pounds, to pay his daughter-in-law an annual income, land, and slaves, should she become widowed before he dies.
