Henry County (Va.) Commonwealth Cause, 1834. Consists of court papers documenting the case Commonwealth vs. Brazila Meeks. Meeks was jailed on charges of feloniously stealing a calico bonnet, worth forty-five cents, that was the property of Mary Ann Thomas. Records include a memorandum, summons, and warrant.
