Historical Information

Virginia Tin Mining and Manufacturing Company was organized in Lynchburg, Virginia in September 1884. The company was briefly headquartered at Amherst Court House, Virginia, in 1886 until it established itself in Lexington, Virginia. The company dissolved in May 1906.
