Scope and Content Information
Daybook records purchases for general merchandise, commission charges, charges for the inspection of flour, as well as accounts with individuals form the Alexandria and Northern Virginia area, and a record of slaves purchased in March 1828. Property rentals and wharfage charges are also recorded.
