Young writes to Pierre Francois Beville, Quartermaster General under Rochambeau, concerning his inability to pay express riders.The situation is critical. He has written to Maj. {Richard} Claiborne and will write to Col. {James} Hendricks in Alexandria {Va.} concerning the problem. In the meantime, riders have agreed to deliver dispatches as far as Lynches Tavern.
