Informs Blathwayt that deputy {auditor} Philip Ludwell II has been suspended from office for continually frustrating the governor's proposals for collection of quit rents; also suspended is William Byrd II, former receiver general. Recommends either John Robinson or Peter Beverley to succeed Ludwell.
