Scope and Content Information
Copy of a patent in which Berkeley grants Catlett five hundred acres of land in Rappahannock Co., Va. Recorded by Thomas Ludwell. Bears a notation, "Examined by the original and agrees with the record" witnessed by Charles Chiswell. Verso bears deed, 1667 March 2, for the land from Catlett to Henry Corbin witnessed by Peter Temple and Thomas Williamson.
