Deed conveys one thousand acres in Louisa County (formerly Hanover County), Virginia from Thomas Martin's heirs of Bristol, England to Francis Jerdone of Yorktown. Except for James Hilhouse (Sr. or Jr.?), heirs are all female members of Martin's family. Deed witnessed by George Webb, John Chiswell, John Norton, and Robert Miller and signed by Humphrey Hill and John Robinson as attorneys for Martin's heirs. Proved at a General Court in Williamsburg. Original, certified by Benjamin Waller (seals intact). Includes receipt for N525 from Francis Jerdone.
