Address of the Council to Lieut. Gov. Robert Dinwiddie,
thanking him for his affectionate speech at the opening of the
present session of the General Assembly; also refers to French
and Indian unrest and to Dinwiddie's recent trip to
Winchester, {Va.}, to cultivate friendship with bordering
Indian tribes. Dinwiddie responds, thanking the Council for
its support.
