The Paramount Theatre, located at 215 E. Main Street, Charlottesville, Virginia, opened in November 1931 as a movie palace. It hosted films and live stage shows.

Scope and Content

These are pages of a scrapbook of Daily Progress (Charlottesville, Va.) newspaper clippings about live stage performances at the Paramount Theatre between 1931 and 1936. It includes a clipping about the Paramount's opening gala on 25 November 1931.
