This collection contains the Company Muster Roll for the Light Infantry in the Third Regiment, Third Brigade, and First Division of the Militia, commanded by Lieutenant John Caldwell from May 1838. Handwritten on the document is the infantry's name, "Pulaski Guards". There are other members of the company listed including non-commissioned officers, Sergeants John B. Badger, Chancy Page, and Joseph Harris; Corporals Joseph W. Howard, John H. Howard, and Hiram F. Foster; and Musicians Joshua Simpson, Joseph Rowell, and Cornelius Fuller. Other names are listed but could not be identified.
