Scope and Content Information
In this letter to Professor [Henry Wadsworth] Longfellow, J[ames] T[homas] Fields asks Longfellow to take his extra copy of Ballads and Other Poems in return for one of the Voices of the Night so that he could complete his set of Longfellow's books. He also suggests that Longfellow's inscription in the book "will enhance its value"!
