Scope and Content Information
This collection consists of two letters written by Julia Caroline Ripley Dorr. In the first letter, Dorr writes to Clarke, 1891 March 14, concerning Sunday openings for the local library, increased book borrowing, and the necessity of occupying all of Memorial Hall.
In the second letter, Dorr writes to Goss [possibly Elbridge Henry Goss], 1895 November 4, thanking him for his praise of her book, mentioning the publication of "English travel sketches," and wishing him luck on "Bells of the World."
