Scope and Content
Maps, compiled 2010-2015 by Hawthorne and Loretta Davis, of various cemeteries mainly located in Hanover, King William, and New Kent Counties, Virginia. Data given includes name, locality, and GPS coordinates of the cemetery, and shows (to scale) the location of named graves, unmarked graves, no-name markers, and trees. Cemeteries represented are: Union Baptist Church Cemetery (Quinton, New Kent County); old cemetery of Olivet Presbyterian Church (Providence Forge, New Kent County); Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery (New Kent Highway, New Kent County); Second Elam Baptist Church Cemetery (Cooks Mills Road, New Kent County); Good Hope Baptist Church Cemetery (Good Hope Road, Lanexa, New Kent County); Gregory Cemetery (Elsing Green, King William County); Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery (Lanexa, New Kent County); Angelview Baptist Church (Lanexa, New Kent County), Beulah Presbyterian Church Cemetery (Mechanicsville, Hanover County), and Mount Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery (Providence Forge, New Kent County). Also included is a schematic of the Black Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Cold Harbor, Hanover County. Other maps may be added in the future.
Loretta and Hawthorne Davis have compiled several books on cemeteries in New Kent and King William Counties, Virginia, many of which correspond to the cemeteries represented in this collection. These works are available in the Library of Virginia's book collection.

In making this schematic, the church's numbering system has been maintained, and the rows made to follow as close to their actual layout as possible. This necessitates the church numbers not being contiguous in some rows.
