Patrick Henry, a well known Virginia statesman, served as Governor of the the Commonwealth from 1776 to 1779.
Scope and Content
Governor Henry grants Carson 300 acres of land in Campbell County, Va. Carson was the assignee of Richard Stith, assignee of John Hall, assignee of Aaron Quarles. Issued by virtue of Land Office Treasury Warrant #15,160 dated 1783 February 25. Signed by John Harvie, Re{gister} L{and} O{ffice}. Printed form with manuscript insertions. Bears seal of Virginia.
